Abstract

Public investment is considered one of the key drivers for improving economic growth in Vietnam today. However, site clearance remains one of the major challenges affecting project timelines, leading to increased costs and capital  equirements. It also negatively impacts the efficient use of available funds and the allocation of capital to other projects. Delays in clearance can result from various factors, with one important factor being the discrepancy between compensations and the market prices. Therefore, appropriate land valuation is an essential solution to promote the implementation of investment projects in general, and public investment projects in particular.
