Abstract

The capital market plays an essential role in Vietnam’s transition toward a low-carbon economy and enhanced climate resilience, through the mobilization of green capital. In Vietnam, promoting green finance and sustainable finance is a long-term priority of the State Securities Commission. Proactively developing an actionplan for green growth in the securities market in this new phase is of the most importance and necessity to realize the goals of green and sustainable growth set out in the National Strategy. This aims to establish a framework for green finance and green financial products for enterprises operating in the Vietnam stock market.
