Abstract

This study discusses the definition and the role of inflation-targeting monetary policy, aiming to reduce inconsistencies in timing, enhance transparency, accountability, and consistency with democraticprinciples, and improve efficiency. It also  examines the conditions for implementing such policies and evaluates the feasibility of implementing an inflationtargeting monetary policy framework in the current context. The article also proposes solutions to build anoptimal monetary policy  framework for Vietnam for the period 2025-2030.
