Abstract

Reforming institutional quality and controlling corruption are key issues for development in many countries, including those in the ASEAN region. Studies evaluating the impact of corruption and institutional quality on economic growth have garnered significant attention from academics and policy experts. This research examines the effects of corruption and institutional quality on economic growth in ASEAN countries. The results show that corruption has a negative impact on growth, while strong institutions have a positive effect, promoting economic growth in these countries.
