Abstract

The wastewater environmental protection fee is an economic tool used by the State to regulate the behavior of polluters by influencing their economic interests and to generate revenue for environmental protection activities. To encourage businesses to invest in wastewater treatment technologies that meet environmental standards before discharge, the fee structure must be set at an appropriate level. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate the current fee rates to propose suitable solutions for refining this policy.
