Abstract

In recent time, the Party and State have introduced various initiatives on environmental protection, including specific policies for environmental protection fees on wastewater. However, fee collection policies have revealed certain issues, such as the identification of feepayers, fee collection processes, fee rates, management  and usage of fees, as well as fee declaration and payment procedures. This article provides recommendations toimprove the wastewater environmental protection fee
policy, addressing current implementation challenges to ensure alignment with financial, budgetary, and environmental protection laws.
