Abstract

Public spending reform is an urgent task when fiscal space of Vietnam has become limited. This paper analyzes the scale and structure of recent budget expenditures and discusses the issues set out for the budget reform as well as the challenges for public spending of Vietnam in the coming years. The author also attempts to recommends solutions to state budget reform considering the issues of sustainable state budget.
