Abstract

In Vietnam, pension is a matter of concern to employees and the public, especially before the new changes in retirement age and pension specified in the Labor Code 2019 (effective from January 1, 2021). Researching new regulations on pension regime; difficulties and challenges that Vietnam is facing in improving the quality of life of workers in old age, the article proposes solutions to contribute to building a comprehensive and effective Vietnam pension system.
