Abstract

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has been approved by Prime Minister to implement equitization of 3 power generation corporations including Power Generation Corporation 2 (Genco 2) and Power Generation Corporation 3 (Genco 3). In addition, in the period 2018-2020, EVN must implement divestment of capital in 06 joint-stock companies. The article summarizes the equitization result of EVNGENCO3, EVNGENCO2 and the implementation of EVN’s divestment at member companies. At the same time, the article proposes solutions to remove existing difficulties and problems.
