Abstract

Financial inclusion means that all people and businesses have access to financial products and services conveniently at their needs, at a reasonable cost, and are provided responsibly and sustainably. Promoting financial inclusion is considered one of the major contents of socio-economic development in Vietnam. At present, after more than 2 years implementing Decision No. 149/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the Financial Inclusion Strategy has achieved some outstanding results in terms of legal framework and financial infrastructure. However, in the coming time, it is necessary to continue the goals and plans set out in the National Financial Inclusion Strategy to promote sustainable economic development.
