Abstract

Recognizing the important role of the foreign investment sector, during more than 35 years of renovation, the Party and State have applied multiple guidelines and policies to attract, manage, and create favorable investment environment for foreign investors and enterprises. As a result, this economic sector has developed rapidly and effectively, becoming an important part of the economy, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Vietnam. To continue promoting the role of the foreign investment sector in the new context, the article discusses the status and advantages of attracting foreign investment in the coming time, thereby offering some recommendations on the implementation of the Foreign Investment Cooperation Strategy for the period 2021-2030 according to Decision No. 667/ QD-TTg dated June 2nd, 2022 of the Prime Minister.
