Abstract

Gasoline and oil are strategic commodities that directly impact various industries as well as the daily lives of people. Fluctuations in the prices of gasoline and oil have substantial impact on inflation and the overall economic stability. The price of gasoline and oil is influenced by several factors, including environmental protection taxes. In recent years, faced with the volatility of global gasoline and oil prices, environmental protection taxes have been utilized as an effective tax tool to regulate gasoline and oil prices. This article evaluates the impact of environmental protection taxes on gasoline and oil and proposes solutions to improve environmental protection taxes on gasoline and oil in the near future.
