Abstract

The restructuring of state-owned enterprises, with a focus on conglomerates and state-owned corporations, is one of the three crucial tasks in the overall economic restructuring process in Vietnam. This is an essentialprocess, aligning with the transition from broad-based economic development to a more profound development approach, where state-owned enterprises genuinely assert their pivotal role in the national economy. This studyevaluates the current status of the state-owned  nterprise restructuring process from 2011 to the present and proposes solutions to enhance the effectiveness of stateowned enterprise restructuring in the upcoming period.
