Abstract

In 2023, under the guidance and direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance actively coordinated with relevant ministries, sectors, and localities to formulate price management scenarios appropriate to each period and market developments. As a result, inflation over the past year was well controlled and remained below the permissible limit. Promoting the achievements, in 2024, the Ministry of Finance will continue to coordinate with other ministries to advise the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Price Steering Committee to implement coordinated price management solutions aimed at controlling inflation and supporting the resolution of difficulties for production, business, and stabilizing people’s lives.
