Abstract

From the beginning of 2024, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Customs issued Resolution No. 22-NQ/ DU dated January 10th, 2024, enhancing the Party’s leadership over the digital transformation process. The Director General of the Vietnam Customs issued Directive No. 381/CT-TCHQ on January 24th, 2024, regarding the acceleration of digital transformation and reform of customs for the period 2024-2025. This demonstrates the determined and strong leadership of the Customs sector in successfully implementing the digital transformation plan and modernization of customs, aiming to establish a standardized and modern Customs system.
