IMPROVING IMAGE - QUALITY FOR EXTENSED DEPTH - OF - FIELD OPTICAL SYSTEM BY COMBINING TWO IMAGES OF TWO RADIALLY SYMMETRIC PHASE MASK

Abstract

In this paper, we propose the combination two images of two radially phase masks to improve image quality of imaging systems. Method is obtained by digital processing of two images of two phase masks which have two diference optical transfer functions at low frequence and high frequence regions. Two phase masks are used to be square phase masks. Images by using digital processing has better quanlity on all frequency region. Simulation Results demonstrated that proposed method is used to obtain good image on all frequency region.
