Abstract: Novel CuO/ZnO hybrid nanostructures have been prepared by the hydrothermal process. The synthesized CuO/ZnO nanostructures were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Infrared Spectroscopy (IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms. Morphological analysis showed that CuO/ZnO materials were in the shape of granule. The XRD measurements revealed that the prepared samples consisted only CuO and ZnO phases. In this study, the influence of Cu/Zn molar ratio, hydrothermal temperature, and calcination temperature on phases composition and morphology of synthesized materials was also investigated.
