CHARACTERISTICS, THE TREND OF HEATWAVE AND COLDWAVE IN QUANG NAM PROVINCE

Abstract

This study analyzes the heatwave and coldwave that occurred in Quang Nam province and calculates the heatwave and coldwave trends by using meteorological data throughout 1979 - 2020. While cold waves had a slight variation in the decade 2010 - 2019 compared to previous decades, heatwaves increased in frequency, intensity, and the number of days in the wave, especially during 2019.
