AGRO-CLIMATIC ZONING FOR SON LA PROVINCE

Abstract

Son La is a mountainous province with rather complex intertwined terrain types, leading to major changes in agricultural climatic factors on a narrow scale, therefore, the division of regions and sub-regions to reflect the distribution law of agricultural climatic conditions is very necessary. Based on the criteria related to the total annual temperature and length of growing period Son La province is divided into 5 zones and 10 sub-agroclimatic zone. This will be an important scientific argument for the development of the province.
