CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF A HEXANE EXTRACT OF THE LEAVES OF BIOTA ORIENTALIS

Abstract

    Seven compounds, vanilline (1), ferulic acid (2), n-docosyl ferulate (3), 3-oxo-α-ionol (4),pinusolidic acid (5), 3β-hydroxyisopimaric acid (6) and 7-hydroxy-5,6,4'-trimethoxyflavone(7), were isolated from a hexane extract of the leaves of Biota orientalis collected in Ho ChiMinh City. Their structures were determined using NMR (1H NMR, 13C NMR, HSQC, HMBC)and HRESIMS techniques.
