SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF PARACETAMOL AND IBUPROFEN IN ALAXAN, PROTAMOL, ANDOLXAN AND TATANOL EXTRA TABLETS BY ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY METHOD

Abstract

     In this paper we publish the results of simultaneous determination of paracetamol and ibuprofen in ALAXAN, PROTAMOL, ANDOLXAN and TATANOL EXTRA tablets using optical absorption spectrum measurement results of paracetamol and ibuprofen overlaping each other in wavelength of about 210-300nm. Identified paracetamol and ibuprofen in ALAXAN, PROTAMOL, ANDOLXAN and TATANOL EXTRA tablets with high accuracy and level of paracetamol recovered from 99.69% to 100.22% and ibuprofen recovered from 99.88% to 100.17%.
