DETEMINATION OF As(III) IN GROUNDWATER BY CE-C4D USING DYNAMIC pH JUNCTION ONLINE PRECONCENTRATION
Abstract
Online preconcentration followed by capillary electrophoresis with capacitivelycoupled contactless conductivity detection (CE-C4D) was evaluated as an approachfor the determination of arsenite -As(III)- in groundwater samples. The runningbuffer employed consisted of 14 mmol/L arginine and 100 mmol/L 3-(Cyclohexylamino)-1-propanesulfonic acid (pH 9.6). Formic acid 15mM was found tobe the optimal sample matrix. Under these optimized conditions, the limit of detection(LOD) was 2,96μg/L and the recovery was approximately 100%. The developedanalytical procdure was applied to analyze four water samples taken from Hanoiwater supply number 2 joint stock company.Downloads
