Cajuput leaves : Collected in Huong Tra district, Thua Thien Hue province was tested for chemical
composition by GC / MS method. The results showed that there are 41 substances in melaleuca oil with
different levels. In which the substance occupies a large content in essential oils are Cineole 1.8
(25.38%) and Terpinolene (5.75%). By enticing steam distillation method, cajeput oil was obtained
with an efficiency of 0.609%.
