Abstract
The photocrosslinking of butadiene nitrile rubber was shown to proceed within minutes upon the exposure to sunlight in the presence of trithiol and acylphosphine oxide photointiator (TPO) of different concentrations. The crosslinking process was followed by insolubilization, swelling and hardness measurements. Optimum cure was reached at photoinitiator concentration 1%.
