Abstract

Some α,β - unsaturated ketones have been prepared by the condensation of resacetophenone (2’,4’-dihydroxyacetophenone) or 2,4-diacetylresorcinol - the products of Fries rearrangement reaction of resorcinol diacetate - with indole-3-aldehydes, which then have been transformed into corresponding flavone analogs or indolylpyrazolines.
