THE CORE VALUES OF SOCIALISM IN THE SPIRIT OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF VIETNAM

Abstract

The author of the paper approaches socialism as a scientific socialism based on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought. As such, according to the view of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the socialist model in Vietnam has the following core values: first, socialism is a humane society with the goal of the complete liberation of humanity; second, socialism is a democratic society, all real power belongs to the people; third, socialism is a just, civilized and progressive society; fourth, socialism is a society of sustainable development.These core values are not only interconnected and unified but also complement each other, together creating the essential values and nature of socialism in Vietnam.
