In his article, based on the analysis and evaluation of the article “Some Theoretical and Practical Issues on Socialism and the Path to Socialism in Vietnam” by General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng, the author focuses on clarifying the dialectical relationship between fair/equitable and sustainable development for the happiness of the people and the shaping of the basic features and important attributes of the socialist development orientation, particularly the development of a socialist-oriented market economy. This dialectical relationship contributes to and enhances the theory of the transitional period in Vietnam, ensuring the effective governance of the realization of socialist goals in each policy, each step, and throughout the national renovation process.
