Abstract

Project-based learning is well known as a model that provides students an approach in which individual learners become autonomous agents in achieving their best learning outcome. This report describes our work on the PBL implementation of the Japanese Language 5 Course for Da Lat Yersin University students whose major is (majoring or English-majored students) English Language. The study used student questionnaire data (n = 50). Results showed that the students were able to gain an improvement in learning motivation, autonomy, willingness to communicate together in foreign language with some other skills.  Findings also indicated that the designed rubric and teacher’s instructions were helpful through this process.
