A CASE OF PERIANAL FISTULA DUE TO INGESTED FOREIGN BODY

Abstract

Most of cases of anal fistula were caused by idiopathic cryptoglandular infections. Cancer or tuberculosis or Crohn disease was one of uncommon cause of anal fistula. The rare cause of this disease was the ingested foreign body. A foreign body was usually determined intraoperatively. The clean drainage and obtaining foreign body were the key to healing and preventing recurrence.
