Abstract
Abstract: Ho Chi Minh City is not only Vietnam’s leading
economic, cultural, and educational center but also home to a wealth
of unique architectural heritage. This heritage includes historic French
colonial structures, traditional Eastern-style houses, and important
historical sites connected to the nation’s struggle for independence.
Conserving architectural heritage is more than merely preserving old
buildings; it plays a key role in promoting the city’s image, fostering
tourism, and contributing to the city's socioeconomic development.
In today’s context, conservation efforts must be integrated with
sustainable development strategies to strike a balance between
cultural preservation and economic growth
