GREEN AND LOW EMISSION TRANSPORT: PROPOSING SOME SOLUTIONS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

Abstract: In the context of increasing climate change and
environmental pollution, developing green and low-emission
transportation has become a global necessity. Vietnam, with its
rapid urbanization and growing transportation demand, faces
significant challenges in reducing greenhouse gas emissions
from the transport sector – which accounts for a large share
of national emissions. This paper analyzes the theoretical
foundations, international experiences, and Vietnam’s current
situation, while proposing solutions for developing green and
low-emission transportation.
