APPLICATION OF BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM) IN SIMULATING SCHEDULE AND COST FOR HIGH-RISE BUILDING PROJECTS

Abstract: Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a modern
construction management tool that allows the integration of
design data, schedule, and cost on a single modeling platform.
In this study, the authors applied BIM to develop a 3D model,
integrating schedule (4D) and cost (5D) for the foundation
component of a high-rise building project. The implementation of
the BIM 5D model not only contributes to enhancing visualization
and coordination among departments but also helps control
schedule, budget, and early detection of construction conflicts.
The research results serve as a practical basis for recommending
the expansion of BIM application in large-scale civil construction
projects.
