Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on the factors affecting schedule
management in public-funded civil construction projects in Vietnam,
particularly in the context of Hanoi. By synthesizing and analyzing
domestic and international literature, the research identifies objective
factors (legal regulations, economic fluctuations, weather conditions)
and subjective factors (financial capacity, contractor experience,
coordination ability) influencing project progress. The review
process involves steps such as keyword analysis, data collection, and
classification, constructing a multidimensional analytical framework
for the factor groups. Findings highlight the decisive role of elements
such as contractor capacity, risk management, and stakeholder
coordination in effective progress management. Additionally,
research gaps are identified, including controlling project timelines
within Vietnam’s legal context and the application of modern project
management tools. The results provide a foundation for solutions to
enhance the effectiveness of progress management in public-funded
civil construction projects.
