Tien Yen town from the perspective of geoculture - an orientation for planning – architecture development

Abstract

Tien Yen is a mountainous district in the northeast region of Quang Ninh province, with diverse topography, cultural nuances and a long history. The article presents a new approach that studies Tien Yen town from a geo-cultural perspective, a new orientation for planning - architecture development. The study and approach to the planning - architecture from geo-cultural factors will help Tien Yen inherit and promote distinct values and identities facing challenges of economic, cultural and social development in the trend of integration and globalization.
