EFFECTIVENESS OF SKYLIGHT ON VENTILATION FLOW IN OFFICE ARCHITECTURAL WORKS

Abstract
Abstract: Designing skylight spaces in architectural works has long been considered an effective passive ventilation design method for neighboring spaces, by creating convection airflow thanks to the differences in temperature through solar energy sources. The arrangement of skylights in different locations in the building affects the ventilation flow and its effectiveness on air flow speed. This article studies the ventilation efficiency of skylights according to its different positions in a 7-storey office building, using EnergyPlus software.
