Abstract

The study aims to identify suitable conditions for the hydrolysis production process of black soldier fly larvae using the KMINA preparation. Utilizing microorganisms that can secrete protease enzymes to hydrolyze black soldier fly larvae, the goal is to create nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. The five research parameters are: KMINA preparation concentration (1), black soldier fly larvae concentration (2), fermentation time (3), fermentation temperature (4), and pH level (5). The results indicate that the optimal formulation and conditions for producing hydrolyzed black soldier fly larvae include: 3 mL of KMINA preparation + 30 g of black soldier fly larvae + 5 g of molasses + 30 mL of water, with a fermentation time of 25 days at a temperature of 35 °C and a pH of 7. This resulted in the best outcome, with a free amino acid concentration measured by UV-Vis spectroscopy at 718.52 µg/mL. The research findings contribute to the establishment of a production process for hydrolyzed black soldier fly larvae using the KMINA microbial preparation, enhancing the diversity of beneficial organic fertilizers for crops in a way that is friendly to humans and the environment
