Abstract
In Vietnam, the number of qualified pharmacists is quite large but still has not met the requirement of the society. The majority of pharmacy students choose to work at clinics or private pharmacies in urban areas instead of working in hospitals or health facilities in the countryside. The research aims at evaluating the job recognition and expectations of future pharmacists using a descriptive cross-sectional study on final-year pharmacy students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. The results can be referenced in developing a “training for society” strategy for the pharmaceutical sector.
