Author analyzes the potential advantages of Can Tho to become the trade - services center of in the Mekong delta. From that author analyzing the achievements and limitations of commercial and services development of the city in recent years. On this basis, author suggest some solutions to develop trade - services of the city in the future to really become the center of the region.
