RESEARCH ON EXTRACTION CONDITIONS FOR ULTRASONIC-ASSISTED OIL FROM SEEDS OF SACHA INCHI (Plukenetia volubilis)

Abstract
This study was conducted to optimize the extraction process and analyze
some physicochemical properties of oil from Sacha inchi seeds. The
experimental design according to Box - Behnken in Response surface
methodology has built an optimal model for the extraction process with an
ultrasonic power of 338W, time of 52 minutes and a raw material/solvent ratio
of 1/10, the recovery efficiency reached 83.09%. Analysis of the content of
some physical and chemical indicators of the oil such as acid index is
1.81mg/g, iodine index is 94.57g/100g, peroxide index is 8.63meqO2/kg,
saponiöcation index is 182.72mg/g.
