Abstract

This article outlines the structure of a microgrid and investigates the
calculation of power balance, as well as voltage assessment at bus within the
microgrid under two operating conditions. A simulation model for the microgrid
system has been developed, and simulations have been carried out for several
typical scenarios including grid-connected and islanded. The obtained simulation
results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model and serve as a foundation for
further research, such as calculating reactive power compensation or optimizing
the capacity of electricity storage sources and renewable energy generation
sources to fulfill the load requirements within the microgrid.
