Abstract

This paper presents the study of the influence of some parameters of the
Electrical discharge machining (EDM) that uses tool electrodes made by copper
on dimensional precision and roundness error of the workpiece SKD11. Two of
processing parameters to be considered in this report are current pulse (UI) and
discharge time (te). After experimental and used Minitab 16 software to solve its
results, we know: Both Ui and te have significiant infuence on δ; influence rule of
Ui on δ is bigger than its of te; there is only Ui has significiant infuence on Δ.
Finally, suggestions for further research are given.
