ANALYSIS OF THE STRENGTH OF THE BUS BODY IN ROLLOVER BY SIMULATION

Abstract

The paper presents simulation results analyzing the durability of Bus in
rollover. Research method according to European standard AIS 031/ECE-R66. The
Ansys Worrkbench software to simulation in the study used.
The results have examined the deformation of the bus body when rollover. The
level of deformation is determined by the parameters of distance from the vehicle's
center of gravity to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and displacement value,
equivalent strain, stress and impact acceleration. Stress and strain according to the
permissible stress of the body material is compared.
