APPLICATION OF ANCIENT VIETNAMESE PATTERNS IN DECORATIVE MOTIFS DESIGN ON COSTUMES FOR TEENAGERS

Abstract

The article presents the results of research on decorative motifs of ancient
Vietnamese patterns applied on modern costumes for teenagers. Patterns of
prehistoric and protohistoric periods have been analyzed in terms of contours,
layouts, etc. Thereby patterns of decorative motifs in costumes for Vietnamese
teenagers are created. The designs are researched and created basing on the
results of the survey, the needs of using costumes, as well as the aesthetic tastes
of Vietnamese teenagers
