RESEARCH OF NEW TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING FOR AMORPHOUS STEEL IN SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR MANUFACTURING

An amorphous alloy is a new material that known for its superior physical
and chemical properties. Especially in electrical equipment such as transformer,
current transformers, electric motor, amorphous alloy substitutes silicon steel
become the optimal choice in the energy saving. However, the use of this
material in motor manufacturing is a major challenge because of its brittleness;
although the advantages of the motor using amorphous alloy is significant. New
technology in material production and processing is evaluated by the authors,
proposed for use in switched reluctance motor manufacture. Initial analysis
showed that the plasticity in the amorphous steel was enhanced, the
compression bending improved, suitable for future switched reluctance motor
manufacture applications. Same, the result shows that compared with Silic steel
traditional motors, the amorphous alloy motor has the advantages of energy
economizing, loss reducing.
