STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF SOME TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS ON THE MAXIMUM DEPTH OF CUT WHEN MACHINING BY HIGH-PRESSURE WATERJET MIXED WITH NON-PRESSURIZED ABRASIVES

Abstract

This paper presents the results of an experimental study examining the
influence of two technological parameters on the maximum depth of cut when
machining by high-pressure waterjet mixed with non-pressurized abrasives.
From the experimental results, we build a regression equation describing the
influence of two parameters (Vdc; Qkm) on the maximum depth of cut and
recommend how to adjust these two parameters to be reasonable when
machining.
