MODELING THE SYNCHONOROUS GENERATOR BASED ON THE PV SYSTEM COMBINED BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

Abstract
The rotational inertia of the synchronous generator plays an important role
in keeping the power system stable. However, the grid-connected solar system
through a power converter causes an inertia deficiency in the microgrid that
directly affects the system stability reserve. This paper proposes a synchronous
generator simulation model based on a solar system combined with a batterry
energy storage system. The paper also simulates the process of controlling
frequency and microgrid voltage in autonomous mode on Matlab/Simulink tool.
