Abstract

Nanocrystalline ZnWO4:Eu3+, Al
3+
were successfully synthesized via wet
chemical method. Resulting nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, UV-
Vis and EDX analysis. The nanocrystals NiWO4:Eu3+, Al
3+
were in monoclinic
symmetry. Photocatalytic activities of the characterised catalyst were examined
by the decolourisation of methylene blue (MB) under ultraviolet radiation were
conducted at room temperature. The results confirmed that nanoparticals were
degraded about 98% methylene blue (MB) in water under ultraviolet sources.
