Abstract

As we all know, Duong Van Nga (the Duong queen, mother of king brought Duong's family name in Dinh - Le dynasties) is a special historical figure because she was the wife of king Dinh Tien Hoang but gave the throne to Le Hoan in circumstances of domestic rebellion and foreign invasion and later became the queen of the first emperor of the Tien Le dynasty. Because of this specialness, although her 1000-year history closed, her literary and artistic works are still constantly being created and recreated. She has become the inspiration of art and literature such as stories, historical novels, Vietnamese popular opera, reformed drama ... with the image of a powerful, fine but also sentimental woman, appearing in a special situation, to fulfill the duties of a citizen but not forget her personal part, creating an “immortal image for literature and art that can be exploited and reproduced for many generations”.
