Variation features of mean sea water level in Da Nang bay under the influence of climate change

Abstract
A 20-year analysis (2000-2019) of water level data from Son Tra hydrological station, representative of Da Nang Bay, was conducted. The analysis revealed that, after 2013, water levels exhibited significant and anomalous fluctuations, deviating from historical patterns. These findings corroborate with other studies on water level changes in the Bien Dong Sea. Notably, the period 2015-2018 witnessed an unusually rapid rise in the annual mean sea level, suggesting a potential influence of climate change and indicating the establishment of a new equilibrium state for the region.
