Solutions to raise awareness among Khanh Hoa university students regarding social media etiquette

Abstract

This paper investigates Khanh Hoa University students' awareness of social media etiquette. In the context of social media becoming a significant part of life, students, who are frequent users, need to have a proper understanding of online behavior. The study surveyed students from various faculties to assess their usage frequency, interaction levels, and awareness of social media etiquette. The results show that the majority of students recognize the importance of etiquette, but uncivil behaviors still exist, stemming from a lack of understanding, herd mentality, and negative influences from social media. Based on these findings, the paper proposes solutions to raise awareness and build social media etiquette for students.
